Tiny Nation Bootique Ltd was founded in 2015 based on a lifelong passion for beautiful fabric and classic designs. The dream was brought to life after several conversations with friends who were either expecting or experiencing motherhood and felt there were a gap in the market for good quality, affordable and practical designs for babies, especially those with sensitive skin. After months of research, we discovered the amazing benefit of organic cotton and bamboo fibre and realised that there were not enough voices advocating for these great products. We hope that you will love them as much as we do!!
We really hope you love visiting Tiny Nation Bootique and tell your friends about the great things you’ve found here. We would love to hear your feedback and answer any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Better Quality Garments – organic cotton is stronger and softer than conventional cotton.
Better For Your Baby’s Skin – organic cotton is purer, more natural and contains less allergens. It’s less likely to trigger eczema in those with sensitive skin.
Fairer Prices For Farmers – organic farmers receive a premium for their cotton.
Better Conditions For Farmers & Their Families – conventional cotton uses toxic pesticides and fertilisers. Organic cotton uses none. Farmers, their families, local communities, wildlife & eco-systems are no longer at risk from side effects of the acutely toxic chemical pesticides.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a globally agreed standard for organic cotton production to which the main national certification bodies have signed up. It not only covers environmental factors, but also social considerations by ensuring that all processors and manufacturers meet the minimum social criteria of the International Labour Organisation, covering employment practices, working conditions, pay, collective bargaining, and the banning of child labour. According to the terms of the GOTS, only certain chemicals are allowed in organic cotton processing and dyes to ensure that they do not contain harmful substances. For more information about GOTs, go to www.global-standard.org.
We try to ensure that most of our suppliers and manufacturers are GOTS certified. In the cases where there is no current certification, we ensure the garments are still made to the same GOTS social and environmental standards and are Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
Super Soft – bamboo fabric is luxuriously soft and feels like silky cashmere.
Eco-friendly – one of the most positive things about bamboo is that, in tree form, it absorbs 35% more carbon dioxide than equivalent stands of trees. The more bamboo is planted, the better it would help to cut the globally rising levels of carbon dioxide and help in the fight against global warming.
Absorbent – bamboo absorbs up to 60% more water than cotton. This makes it an excellent choice for towels and bathrobes.
Breathable – the porous nature of the fibre makes it breathable and extremely comfortable against the skin.
Thermo-regulating – keeps the wearer warm in cool weather.
Hypo-allergenic – bamboo’s organic and natural properties make it non-irritating so perfect used in baby wear for babies extra sensitive skin.
